The Wait

The wind explains a lot.  You can’t see it.  However, you feel the touch upon your skin when it blows all over in the air.  You never know where it’s going to “land.”  Or if it will stop throwing sand in your face?  Yet, reaching out and grasping at the wind, you come up empty.

So many times in life, we come up with nothing.  It seems like everything is grasping at the wind.  We have no choice but to wait and see in times like these.  You can’t skip ahead, even though that sure would be nice.  Oh, no, it’s a line.  This, too, shall pass, even though it takes time.  (By the way, you are not alone.)

Everyone has to wait on their “someday.”  In the wait, we can enjoy time by celebrating life and being thankful to be alive.  One way to do this is to find someone else to help.  That way, you distract yourself from being so “focused” on yourself.  Don’t get me wrong.  We need to do that too.  Yet, too much of “self” can become sickening.

Instead, take a more consistent approach to your future by assisting others who may need your help.  It more than sparks you to do more.  It may even ignite you right into a purpose.  Realizing that you have something to contribute to the lives of others actually makes you more aware of what you’ve got to do to grow.  Please take a moment to list those needing it and fill it out.  So long as it fits well with the conscience.  Don’t do anything wrong or evil.  No.  Just lend support and be compassionate.
